Your in-house instructors play an important role in achieving success when it comes to driver risk management. The Smith System Certified Trainer Program is a comprehensive platform that gives them the skills, resources, and certification needed to teach and evaluate your drivers in the most effective driver safety methodology available today, based on The Smith5Keys.
After completing 5Keys Trainer, our foundational train-the-trainer course, instructors gain certification and access to a centralized portal for scheduling and managing classes, tracking driver progress, and assigning targeted training.
With data-driven insights learned from the 5Keys Engage mobile app, the 5Keys Driver Scorecard, and other digital resources, they’re equipped to teach, assess, improve, and maintain driver safety across their fleets.
The classroom portion of the Certified Trainer Program is available as either Open Enrollment or in dedicated On-Site sessions. Certification is valid for two years, with recertification required to maintain status as a certified trainer and access to the portal and training tools.
