Smith System’s 5Keys Trainer equips your in-house instructors with the knowledge and tools to teach your drivers the most successful driver safety methods available, based on The Smith5Keys®.
Our train-the-trainer certification ensures your staff can effectively coach your fleet drivers in crash-prevention techniques through both in-person instruction and hands-on behind- the-wheel training.
Your trainers will learn the core principles of the Smith System and how to teach The Smith5Keys to your drivers using dynamic, engaging presentations that inspire behavioral change.
They will then receive hands-on experience in on-road coaching, driver observation, and performance evaluations. And by mastering the Driver Evaluation Form, they will learn how to identify risky habits and guide drivers to make specific improvements.
All sessions take place at your location. Certified trainers must recertify every two years to maintain their credentials.
