5Keys Trainer Recertification is designed for previously certified 5Keys trainers to maintain their active status at the conclusion of their two-year certification cycle.
This required refresher course ensures trainers remain up-to-date with Smith System methods and retain full access to platform tools, instructional materials, and other resources.
Trainers refresh their knowledge, stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory updates, and demonstrate their teaching skills through evaluated presentations and observed drives.
We offer two or three-day courses where Smith System certified driver trainers will review past course content as well as stay current on new processes, safety statistics, platform enhancements, and instructional techniques. Trainers will also practice classroom presentations and conduct demo drives for evaluation by other trainees.
Every currently certified Smith System trainer who is approaching the end of their certification cycle should attend.
Attendees will receive a new two-year certification cycle upon completion.
5Keys Trainer Recertification can be taken in one of our Open Enrollment classes held year-round and in locations across the U.S. and Canada.
With our On-Site option, our Smith System instructors travel to your location to teach your drivers using your facilities and vehicles. This can minimize downtime and makes scheduling easier for your team.
