At Smith System, safety extends beyond the road. It also means supporting the communities where we live and work.
Smith System recently joined customer DHL in its #SafetyWithPurpose initiative, an effort that brings together partners who share a commitment to safety and giving back to their communities.
As part of the initiative, Smith System bicycles, notebooks and pens for students at Miami Heights Elementary School.
DHL invited Smith System to participate because of the organizations’ shared focus on safety. That common commitment provided an opportunity to support students and contribute to a community served by DHL.
The initiative reflects how partnerships built around safety can make an impact beyond day-to-day operations. For Smith System, participating in #SafetyWithPurpose was an opportunity to support a valued customer while helping provide resources directly to students.
