How does the program work?
First, highly visible, durable decals are applied to all company vehicles. Then, through our exclusive 1-888-AM-I SAFE (1-888-264-7233) number, motorists contact our live call center 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. These calls are reviewed and verified by a specialist to eliminate false reports. Once the report is verified, notification is then emailed to the client directing them to our web site for the complete information. Along with the report, supervisors will receive "collision countermeasures" to more effectively counsel drivers, reinforce previous training and suggest specific actions to improve driving habits in the future. With the SmithSAFE® DVD Package clients also have a series of videos at their fingertips to better address the most common motorist reports.
