And now we feature a new third-day course on Hazardous Materials! Our HazMat Basics one-day training course outlines the actions necessary to comply with Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

This basic course is designed for shippers, motor carriers, freight forwarders/brokers and 3PL firms handling ground shipments of hazardous materials. The course reviews Title 49 and provides specific focus on parts 171 through 178 of the Code.

When attending as a stand alone one-day course the HazMat Basics seminar is $299 per person. These courses are scheduled to be added as a third day with our DOT Compliance seminar for an additional $249 per person.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations state that "Every motor carrier, its officers, agents, representatives, and employees responsible for the management, maintenance, operation, or driving of commercial motor vehicles, or the hiring, supervising, training, assigning, or dispatching of drivers, shall be instructed in and comply."
